Alana D. Tyler

Alana Murphy is an engineering executive leader who is currently creating strategies to improve technical leadership and execution at a Fortune 500 aerospace and defense company. With almost 19 years of experience, she has worked her way from an engineer conducting failure analysis to an Engineering Executive at one of the largest aerospace and defense companies. Within this work she has successfully stood up new functions, led global multimillion-dollar technical project and teams and is skilled in Mechanical as well as Systems Engineering.

Entrepreneurially driven, Alana is a co-founder of Dynasty Capital Partners, LLC, which buys opportunistic B & C class properties in MA and TX believing real estate investing is one path to creating generational wealth. With 20 years of real estate investment and property management experience on residential properties her portfolio consists of 9 rental units valued at approximately $3M and have grown one property from a the high $300K purchase price to a currently appraised $900K value in the city of Boston.

Alana graduated from University of Maryland College Park with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has been nationally recognized at the Black Engineer of the Year Award Conference as well as the Women of Color Conference. She is a graduate of multiple leadership development programs and is currently enrolled in Wharton’s Executive Education Program. She currently serves on the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas STEM Advisory Board.
